Global Fellowship is the active network of 2,000 Fellows worldwide, offering services and opportunities designed to meet Fellows’ needs at all stages of their careers. The program supports its members with tools, personal and professional support, and enhanced entrepreneurial opportunities.

Once elected to Ashoka’s Global Fellowship, Fellows enter a borderless community of creativity and collective action. Connected through shared identity, values, goals, and approaches to social change, Ashoka Fellows seek support, ideas, inspiration, and motivation from their peers locally and globally.

Collaborating across regions and fields, Ashoka Fellows achieve results more powerful than what they could accomplish on their own, including new initiatives, publicity, or theoretical concepts that will guide their respective fields and advance the citizen sector. Global Fellowship offers Fellows the opportunity to engage in this community through a variety of programs that allow them to:

• Identify as an Ashoka Fellow and member of the Ashoka community
• Actively participate in exchange and learning initiatives with other community members
• Build a self-organizing community that enables system-changing collaboration

Fellowship’s ultimate goal is to enable Fellows to improve their own work by linking them to Ashoka’s bird’s-eye view of the thousands of social solutions developed and refined by Fellows worldwide. Through the Global Fellowship Program, Fellows come to better understand the general principles that underlie their own innovations, and later spread these insights throughout the citizen sector.
